Shipping on backerkit fixed (?)

Okay so; it appears that for some orders such as the name in the acknowledgements section it was charging for the hardback book weight but for some reason it added the same weight for the name in the acknowledgement (even though this is obviously in the book and not a separate book!) should be all fixed for those pledges now! I’m still working away at going through everyone’s orders and making sure it’s assigned the correct shipping, but I have double checked the weights and all seems fixed there. Let me know if your shipping still looks insanely high please :) 🙏
The shipping weights to the USA do include the import fees etc which is why they’re set higher than previous campaigns, books used to be free to ship without fees- but that all changed recently :( but it should be £28 for express tracked delivery to the USA from the US including import fees and the protective packaging. Sadly I can’t change that too much at the minute unless I can find a cheaper way to send them, but I’d always vote for the most reliable speedy service so your books don’t get damaged :)
Surveys are out!

Thank you to all who helped with the smoke test for the survey and pointed out some little mistakes! All are now sorted & surveys have been sent to all! :) I will have to wait until all surveys are done to order the books so if we could all get them handed in asap that would be grand 🖤🙏 I’m now going to be working on finishing the final illustrations whilst I await the completed surveys! Exciting!! All payments will be taken when I’m about to order the books. So no payment will be taken until all surveys are complete 🖤
Smoke test & shipping update!

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to give you a quick update on the next steps for your Lovecraft’s Shadow Over Innsmouth book.
Before sending out all the surveys and orders to every backer, I’ll be doing a small “smoke test.” This means a handful of backers will receive their survey first so I can make sure everything, from survey responses to shipping, works perfectly. Once I’m confident it’s all running smoothly, the surveys will go out to everyone else. So keep an eye out for emails from Backerkit and myself - as I’ll be sending out the smoke test in a second! If you could all let me know whether there’s any problems or not (so I can fix them before sending to all) that would be great!
I also need to give a heads-up about shipping costs. The UK price hasn’t changed, but international shipping has had to increase because of new rules, duties, and the fact that these books are quite heavy. Shipping to overseas locations is more expensive than I initially expected.
To make it as fair as possible, I’ve set up order-weight-based shipping so the total cost reflects the full order weight. I’ll also be trying to send everything in as few parcels as possible to keep the cost as low as I can for everyone.

Wow thank you all SO much! I was in Paris as I watched the Kickstarter end for my birthday, and honestly that’s the best gift ever! I’m just waiting on all of the payments coming across before I can start making the surveys!
Once the surveys are up you will receive an email from Backerkit, and I will put an update on here too!

Wowww! I’ve just finished my shift and not only have we unlocked the third and final limited edition woodblock print design, we’ve only gone and smashed the next goal, unlocking the second enamel pin design too! Wow! Thank you all SO SO much for your support during this campaign, it really does mean the world to me 🖤
Those unlocks are now available as an add on!
We’ve only got 48 hours left now, I can’t believe how fast that’s came around! Let’s get sharing this campaign around as much as possible and smash those final two stretch goals 😍 remember kickstarter won’t charge you until 2 weeks after the campaign ends, so now is the time to amend your pledge and get those extra goodies 🖤
